Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, we ship across New Zealand. Shipping rates vary by location and will be calculated at checkout.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
Orders are processed promptly after purchase. Delivery times depend on location but generally range from 2 to 5 business days.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we only ship within New Zealand. Stay tuned as we expand our reach!
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your item is damaged during shipping, please get in touch with us at matt@dejabeug.com within 14 days of receipt with a photo of the damage. We’ll replace or refund your item upon review.

Are Deja Beug products dishwasher safe?
No, we recommend handwashing only to maintain the longevity of your Beug. Use warm water and mild soap, and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.
Why shouldn’t I use hot water to clean my Beug?
PLA (Polylactic Acid), used in Deja Beug products, can soften or warp when exposed to high temperatures. Using hot water to clean your Beug could compromise its durability and shape. Instead, we recommend cleaning your Beug with lukewarm water and mild soap. This ensures your Beug stays in excellent condition while maintaining its water-tight seal.
What should I do if my Beug gets blocked?
Our design minimizes blockages, but if it happens, soak your Beug in warm, soapy water and gently clean it with a pipe cleaner.
How do I store my Beug?
Store your Beug in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its durability and finish.
Do I need to reseal my Beug over time?
Our Beugs are sealed with food-safe natural oil for durability and watertightness. To extend their life, reapply a similar sealant if necessary.

What materials are used to make Deja Beug products?
Our Beugs are crafted with KiwiFil PLA Pro filament, a New Zealand-made, eco-friendly material derived from sugarcane.
How sustainable is KiwiFil PLA Pro?
KiwiFil PLA Pro has a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to petroleum-based plastics. Manufacturing 1kg of PLA emits just 0.7kg of CO2, equivalent to driving a car 4km.
How durable is PLA?
While PLA is biodegradable under industrial conditions, it’s tough enough for everyday use and designed to last with proper care. Our Beugs are also 3D-printed with thick walls to enhance their strength.
Do you use sustainable packaging?
Yes, all our products are packaged in eco-friendly materials to minimize waste.
What other sustainability initiatives do you support?
A portion of our sales supports SplashSave, a water safety programme empowering Kiwi families to enjoy New Zealand’s waterways responsibly.

Can I customize the colour of my Beug?
Absolutely! Choose from our vibrant colour range, including popular shades like pink, teal, and baby blue. Availability may vary depending on stock.
Do your Beugs come with glass pieces?
Yes, glass stems and cone pieces are included and can be purchased separately. Our Beugs are compatible with 14mm stems and cones.
